It’s official these fucktards hate us. The bill fails I am not an economist so I am not necessarily stating that I know if it would be as big of a help as they say it could be. But I am curious on the logic for the failure. It seems to me this “free economy” trickle down economics bullshit is obviously a failure. Guess what it’s obviously not working. It is inherently flawed to think that corporations will distribute their wealth. A companies job is to make more money exploit us the citizen and keep all the money they can. So lo and behold these corporations won’t distribute the wealth. It really defies logic to expect an entity that doesn’t have any consciousness to have a sense of community or not to do what is in’t it’s very nature make as much money as possible at any cost necessary.
People are afriad of “socialisim” this is one of the points against this thing. I am not really sure there is anything wrong with giving us a secure economy a right to have medical care. And the government regulating the economy what they call socialism is called federal responsibility.

mike and my self are in a google phone war. We are arguing in a typical dorky manner the nuances of how awesome or not awesome it is. Via our blogs instead of too each other. Rejoice we have reached a new point of weirdness with the internets. The only thing that would make this better if I was doing this with mike in the same room via our respected phones. While INFY was metablogging this and about tacos and Dylan was metablogging INFY and Muto was in the corner mumbling something about apple with the mix on his lap.
Let me explain why my little fan boy friends are Completely wrong.
OpenSource yes anybody can program software for this thing meaning it’s all free. You don’t have to deal with the itunes app store. And you can program anything yourself. You want a googlemaps facebook mashup? It will exist in 1 month instead of waiting for it to never happen on an iphone.
True multithreading. What does that mean? You can run things in the background you can listen to mp3 while surfing the net on it and when you get a phone call it pauses your mp3s you speak than after you go back to your listening.
What apple folk fail to realize the dream represents the future of communication devices the iphone was the beginning but a whole unrestrained user driven phone platform is where it’s at.
The app store had a chance to do this but the didn’t simply because it’s still controled by apple. So guess what you have to oblige them.
This device in it’s self isn’t remarkable but the os is amazing. Guess what this OS will be on any phone.
Having coded a little with google’s libraries it’s awesome these guys know how to code. What they did for the Internet they are doing to phones. And it will work because google doesn’t give a shit about hardware or having a closed system they get their revenue stream from you using their shit which we all know you little apple boys with your gmail accounts is awesome.
And the phone is simply the G1. Not T-Mobile G1: HTC Dream Android Phone.

Apple started this thing. But This phone represents the future. How is releasing crippleware smart? When has that ever been good? Is DRM good? Next you will say it’s good that Itunes music is a pain in the ass to move to non apple devices even though YOU own it.

you know what’s wrong with this thing. let’s start with the “name” of it. The T-Mobile G1: HTC Dream Android Phone. SERIOUSLY???????? i am into technology, follow blogs etc… i still can’t figure out what the deal is with this thing. though, after watching a walkthrough video, i realize it’s totally an iphone. sure there are some differences, amazon mp3 store instead of itunes store, full physical keyboard (for those who can’t stop crying about a qwerty pad), etc. but basically, this thing is an iphone with a horrible name. How in the world will the average user figure out what this thing is and understand what it can do for them?? apple was smart, they released a stripped down phone, named everything very succinctly, and made sure even the most rudimentary user could understand what the phone CAN do and reassured them of how easy it would be TO do those things. slowly, apple has added features and capabilities. i am not saying that google won’t accomplish some awesome things with this device, but i am not sure they can do it with the approachability and class of apple.
